Biggie, Steve Irwin and Dr. Morbius

...were all at our place friday night. We hosted a day of the dead party and encouraged people to dress dead. Since we seem to have collected a plethora of halloween/mexican dead stuff over the years, it wasn't too much effort to celebrate our favourite time of year. Jared made a shrine to Johnny Cash over the mantle and I built a Frida Kahlo shrine. I was dressed a some dead mexican woman, and Jared was Dr. Morbius.

Last weekend I went to Philly to visit Shannon and visit her her new puppy Amos. One of the perks was that she and her friend Jake are event planners in their free time. So they had all sorts of ideas for the party and sent me home with tons of fabric and candles and inspiration. It was fun putting it all together... I wonder how long it'll take us to get around to cleaning up?
