Just watched part of a movie documenting "afro-punk," a sub-sub-genre of punk music. It was a terrible movie, and I bailed aftr a few short minutes, but it did get me thinking about the "punk" music that I listened to growing up, while much of it was white kids, some of it was latino and black. For those that are curious, I'll post some of my childhood favourites.
